This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

stopped by Bep Vietnamese Kitchen in Holly Springs for lunch and it was really good. i got a bowl of pho and it had alot of flavor, broth was nice and hot and not too heavy. also tried a spring roll and that was gone in like 2 seconds lol. place was pretty quiet when we went which i liked. the guy at the counter was really nice and helped me pick something. food came out pretty quick and everything tasted fresh. definitely gonna come back and try a banh mi next time.

I've always had a great experience at the boa. Tea is tasty. I usually get 25% sweet jasmine tea with boba. Although the fruit teas are really good too. It's always a good place to sit and have a minute. Sometimes I'll bring a book or my knitting and have lunch or just a little snack. The pho is really good especially if it's cold or if you're sick and with the spring rolls the dipping sauce is super tasty. Would recommend!

Took my kids here on a rainy day to support our local businesses and try something new (to them). Pleasantly surprised - safe bet for kids but not very authentic. Clean, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I got the pork bon Mi which was very good but the pork reminded me of extra sweet beef jerky. Delicious breadโ€” perfectly toasted, but again, not authentic spices/flavor. My 3 yo got chicken nuggets which are basic as expected but did the trick โ€” breading thick which he wasnโ€™t a fan of but fries were hot and crispy. He ended up liking my 7 yo daughterโ€™s kids size Pho the mostโ€” they slurped down the whole bowl and had fun using chopsticks and adding hoisin. We also got two boba smoothiesโ€” taro and chocolateโ€” both very good. We will be back with Daddy next time!

The atmosphere is more cafe-like than a traditional restaurant. The open windows give a breath of fresh air and sunlight that is far more welcomed than artificial variants. I like they keep everything open, airy and non-constricted. The kitchen appears prepped for ease of access and unless you add Hoison Sauce or Sriracha your Pho will be very bare bones. While the ingredients are fresh, and the prices are fair - I have to admit that i dont like the feeling of going somewhere and feeling "You know, I couldve made this at home". I wanna be wowed in the sense that something is created that i cannot readily recreate. A little bone broth, some bean sprouts, thai basil and a protein variant of choice and i could be enjoying this at home, having made it myself. I tried the dry version of Pho with rice noodles, all the same soup toppings only this comes with a very fragrant fish sauce thats claimed to be made in house. But i didnt taste the difference from the fish sauce i buy at HMART or Grand Asian Market. If anything, it was more bland and "safer". And overall, i feel that this is a safer introduction to traditional vietnamese food than one more authentic. I'm by no means, puttin

This was our first time dining here. The service and the food were both good. The Boba tea was delicious. I will return to try more delicious bites. We even placed an order to go. Our server Ana-Maria was both pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu.
